The 6th Annual Great Salt Lick Hoof Arted Contest/Auction/Benefit was held September 22, at the VAOI Event Center in Baker City, OR. Over $11,000 in proceeds went to the OHSU Parkinson's Center of Oregon. 53 blocks were auctioned off. There was $1000 in prize money.

My apologies for not having better pictures and of not having all the blocks represented. This was one of the growing pains in having a new venue. This year’s contest was the best yet: over 8 grand was raised for OHSU Parkinson’s center. Mib Daily auctioneer extraordinaire was in fine form selling a rock for $170 (he swore it was rock salt. For his replacement block he was given a cinder block that he sold for $100—which has to be a new world record). Also in the forgery dept he sold a sugar cube for $270! It did come with a poem.
